Blogging Income Report – after 10 months of blogging

Hello and welcome to my first blogging income report. I have been blogging for 10 months now and I finally started seeing some results.

The reason I say “finally” is because I decided to start a blog after reading an income report of a blogger who makes over $100k monthly with her blog (and she is just 28 years old). You can read the story here.

Also, saying that I was “blogging” for the past 10 months is a big thing to say as I only published 33 posts as of today (wow, congrats, that must have been so tough:). Although I wasn’t posting regularly and I am never satisfied with the outcome of how my posts look like I managed to get them out there anyway.

During the past 10 months, I have been investing a lot of time in analyzing different bloggers. The way they advertise, what they post etc etc and mainly how their stats look like.

It was until last month when I finally decided that I won’t get anywhere if I just read and read and listen and won’t actually DO. So I created a list of all the things I read and made sense to me to change and started doing. I took a week off, went to Miami with a plan to do all the things on my to-do list. Yes, I have a day job and it is hard to come back home after work and work on your blog. I get it  (remember–>33 posts:). It took a lot of time and effort to improve what was wrong. I am so shocked with the results that I can’t believe why I haven’t done it earlier. Results are amazing!

I need to share a chart with you so you know what I have in mind:

 

In only 4 days of December, I already had more page views than for whole October. Last month- November 2017 I had the best month so far, a 430% increase in page views and it is all due to the changes I’ve recently applied. Not only have I started seeing increasing page views constantly but I also noticed first AdSense revenue.

 

I always had a passion for finding deals, I love using Groupon for beauty (fitness, hair & spa).

I use HotelsTonight, Skyscanner, Hotwire and more for discounted travel (more on travel here).

I use Ebates for everything I buy online.

I use MealPal for lunches and dinners.
I use MoviePass for cheap daily access to cinemas.
I use Hooch (from time to time) for drinks.
and the list goes on.
I also open bank accounts and credit cards to get sign up bonus.

 

Best Deal

I once flew from Warsaw/Poland to Maldives for 50% off ($500 return ticket). It was one of my favorite holidays. So far only the Bahamas topped the beach experience. The beach in the Bahamas is literally made of white soft flour 🙂

Why I decided to publish my Blogging Report

If you think why I want to publish my blogging report the reason is simple this is the type of post I love to read most. I feel inspired by others results and journey. I wasn’t posting earlier as there was nothing to post. I had 20 page-views a day and now it is 200/day. It all changed when I finally spend the needed time and updated my blog.

Before I decided to buy a hosting and domain I knew very little about blogging compared to all the research I’ve done so far. I was reading blogs and I had an idea of how it works but I have learned so much more and it opened my eyes to ways I would probably never think of. If it wasn’t the income reports posted by other bloggers I probably never would have started.

Plan for December

• Increase page views to 6k/month
• Write a post to almost every category. I currently plan to do following:

MONEY: Mystery shopping or Guide to credit cards – how to travel for less
RABBITS: Rabbits in the snow- Bunny winter.
BEAUTY: My Accutane journey. I have started Accutane 1.5months ago and I wanted to write about how I feel, which cosmetics are my go to right now (trust me wasn’t easy to find good ones)
TRAVEL: I want to summarize all the sites and gadgets that are my go-to for travel. Create a travel recommendation guide.
BLOGGING: this is it:) My first blogging income report.
FASHION: Chic winter outfits
FOOD: What to eat when you told yourself yo won’t eat dairy, meat, candy and processed foods as it is better for your skin this way.
NYC: How to live without washing machine- all the weird things you need to know before relocating to NYC. Life in NYC.
INTERIORS: no plans so far.

My First Blogging Income Report

So how I did financially for the past 10 months. As you can imagine I have not cashed any “blogging money” yet, but I have made some money another way, you can read it on this blog:

What exactly have I done?

So what changes I have applied this past month that generated 430% increase in page views? I have created an ebook where I list all the things I did. It is not a 100-pages ebook I used to buy to find a couple of sentences that actually made sense and most of it was just fluff. It is very condensed and to the point. I have only done the things I mention in my ebook and saw great results immediately. I do see a big value in it but only if you are going to implement the strategy I share. If you are not planning to implement than do not buy it. Better to spend the money on something else. It is a step by step improvement plan.
